Bhargava Ramudu is a 1987 Telugu film directed by Kodandarami Reddy. The film stars Balakrishna, Vijayashanti and Sharada in lead roles.

Bhargava, an efficient, yet jobless young man gets an opportunity to work as an Assistant Engineer with the government because of his good deeds. After being pressurized for signing on illegal files, Bhargava wages a war on injustice but is framed by a criminal minded Minister for corruption and is imprisoned. How Bhargava proves his innocence and takes his revenge makes the rest of the film.

Ramu, a tour guide, is deeply in love with Mounika, who does not believe in the concept of love. She pretends to be smitten by him and then humiliates him when he proposes marriage.

Nagabhushanam and his son Nagaraju (Satyanarayana) runs smuggling and Illegal transport of forest produce in the Forest. Ramu (NTR) opposes and raises the villagers to fight against him. Padma (Jayaprada) Daughter of Forest officer (Jaggayya) loves him. One tribal lady Chilakamma (Jayasudha) also loves him as a brother. Nagabhushanam takes the help of Jaggu (Sridhar) to sent Ramu away from the forest. Later half reveals that Ramu was in fact a Forest officer in secret mission to investigate the case of Forest affairs. The story finally leads to the arrest of criminals.

Chamundeswari, a headstrong lady, loves money, ignores human relationships and even dominates her family. When her daughter falls in love with a house helper, she tries everything to separate them.
